MAGNETIC BUBBLE CHIP USED FOR BOTH MAJOR*MINOR LOOP AND SINGLE LOOP

摘要

PURPOSE:To ensure the use of the same chip for both the major/minor loop and the single loop just by changing the flowing way of the control current for the transfer gate. CONSTITUTION:Plural units of minor loops m... are distributed in parallel to one unit of major loop M, along with installation of bubble generator G, replicater S, bubble detector D and bubble eraser A each. The loop features the major/minor loop, and two-way transfer gate Ts is formed between the major loop and each minor loop. When the loop is used as the major/minor loop, the control pulse is flown to gate Ts only at the transfer action. While the control current is flown every time and in synchronization with the driving waveform in case the loop is used as the single loop chip. As a result, the bubbles can be shifted serially like the single loop chip. Furthermore, the cost can be reduced since one divice can be used for both purposes.
