Antiallergically-active pyrimidine derivatives of the formula IMAGE I wherein R1 is hydrogen, chlorine, bromine or C1-4-alkyl, and R2 is hydrogen or methyl, prepared starting from corresponding 4-oxothieno-[3,2-d]pyrimidine derivatives, are described.
