Domestic heating-power generation unit - evaporates water in heated aluminium column and uses expansion and contraction to drive generator

The installation is intended for domestic heating, combined with electricity generation. It comprises an aluminium column contg. a heating coil and a duct connected to a water circuit. After heating, water is evaporated, the hot vapour passed through a heat exchanger to heat air for interior heating and then through a condenser for re-use. Expansion and contraction of the column operated a pivoted layer. This pumps oil to and fro between two chambers via a hydraulic motor driving a generator via a transmission with flywheel. FL.
