The motor car is provided with a hydraulic or pneumatic lift mechanism, powered by the engine. This permits repositioning of the car at a different angle, e.g. for easy parking or facilitates changing a wheel. - This mechanism may be arranged below the gravity centre of the car whilst comprising a turntable to rotate the car either by hand or by a pneumatic actuator powered by an engine-driven compressor. Alternatively, four hydraulic lift jacks may be arranged alongside the shock absorbers and coupled with horizontal actuators to move the raised car in any horizontal direction by varying the angles of the jacks.
