Panel for an external or partition wall with load carrying capability comprises a core in hard polyurethane foam between two plates, e.g. in fibre-silicate material. At least one edge (here vertical and horizontal top and bottom edges) is bounded by a rigid sectional rail. This rail may be in wood (and bottom rail, e.g. in PVC). - Adjoining panels may be coupled via locks (e.g. lock with hook in core of one panel, engaging pin in rail of adjoining panel). Plaster board panels may be secured to at least one surface using adhesive tape and screws.
