PROCESS FOR THE RECOVERY OF METAL CONTENTS FROM A PULP CONTAINING SUCH METAL CONTENTS IN DISSOLVED FORM

The stream of pulp (10-60% wt. solids) contg. dissolved metal is fed through the column of particles (vertical) so that the particles of the column are suspended in a stationary non fluidised state. The pref. particles are of ion exchange resins, chelating resins, or activated carbon and may be periodically removed from the bed and replaced by an equal vol.
