1. A process for the production of anhydrous solutions of hydrogen peroxide in higher boiling point organic solvents by mixing hydrogen peroxide with the higher boiling point solvents in the continous presence of those organic solvents which form, with water, one or more azeotropes, the boiling points of which lie below the boiling point of hydrogen peroxide, with respect to normal pressure, characterised in that the water is removed from the mixture down to 1% by weight, preferably to below 0.5% by weight, with these lower boiling point solvents by azeotrope formation at from 50 to 400 mbar.
