摘要
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The invention relates to a device for grinding non-parallel surfaces of workpieces on two-disk grinders on the face, operating by a rotary grinding method. The device allows grinding of workpieces in which the surfaces to be machined are not parallel but form an angle of one another, the abrasion of the two surfaces being carried out in one pass through the grinding zone. The device is only suitable for rotary grinding, used in double-disc (ie, planar) sanding machines.Until now, double-disc face skates have been used in the rotary grinding process for simultaneous grinding of workpiece faces, where the workpiece faces are parallel and the grinding occurs when the workpieces pass between the grinding wheels on a circular path. To carry the workpieces (gripping), use is made of entrainment disks which are provided with closed or open recesses for this purpose, or prisms into which the workpieces are loaded and are guided by the follower disks as they pass between the grinding wheels. In some cases, the workpiece carrier discs are provided with mechanical clamping devices to firmly engage the workpiece with the carrier disc. The size of the workpieces in this case is determined by the absolute distance between the grinding wheels. The carrier discs of the workpieces are mounted on the spindle of the rotary feeder, which generally has a continuously adjustable drive, and these rotary feeders impart the necessary rotational movement to the drive disks of the workpieces. When the workpiece passes between the grinding wheels, the faces are abraded simultaneously. Until now, it has not been possible to grind workpieces on double-disc face grinders where the surface to be grinded is gripping a sharp angle. In these cases, the grinding was carried out in such a way that two workpiece carrier discs were used, each serving for positioning the workpiece in which only one surface was ground. In this way, the workpiece was machined in two operations and only one grinding wheel was used in this process.
