The invention relates to a vaccine composition against a predetermined pathogenic agent suitable for the reimmunization of an immunitarily non-naive host. It contains a synthetic haptene possessing itself an antigenic site characteristic of said pathogenic agent or an oligomer of said haptene. It is conditioned in dose-units containing a dosage of haptene adjusted for said re-immunization of the immunitarily non-naive subject, in association with a physiologically acceptable vehicle.
