Producing dog or cat food from cows rumen - by mincing immediately after emptying, canning with some water and autoclave sterilising

The cows rumen is coarsely minced to form pieces which are filled into cans, a small amt. of water being added to ensure complete filling. Can tops are placed and sealed after which sterilisation takes place in an autoclave at 105-115 deg. C, pref. 110 deg. for 2.5-3.5 h, pref. 3h, followed by gradual cooling. The full rumen (2) is pref. emptied just before this treatment.
