A device for the tightening of length-adjustable bands (3) for fixing loads (1), of which the band (3) is equipped with a self-locking mount (2). In this is fixed one (4) of the load band's (3) ends and from the mounting (2) a free end part (6) of the band (3) extends. A holder (10) equipped with a band stretcher (13) of a known type as well as a support device (11) can be coupled to the mounting (2) in the direction of the end part (6). These are designed to work together with the mounting (2) for angle and distance fixation of the mounting (2) in relation to the band stretcher (13), in which the free end part (6) of the band (3) is fixable for contraction of the band (3).IMAGE
