Thermal rectractable tape useful for conditioning various articles, particularly as an insulating means or bonding means. The tape comprises in its composition: A) 100 parts by weight of polycaprolactone and B) 5 to 50 parts by weight of a substance selected among the group comprised of trans-polydiens, polyurethane, and mixtures thereof the tape is thermal retractable and self adhering at a temperature comprised between 30 and 80oC according to the content of B. The invention also relates to the preparation method of said tape by drawing at 10-40oC.
