PHN 9608 C 6. 8.1980ABSTRACT:"Picture display device arranged for displaying a mixedpicture signal as an interlaced television picture".A picture display device arranged for dis-playing, as an interlaced television picture, a mixedpicture signal on a picture display tube, this picturesignal including a television signal produced inaccordance with a television standard and a digitallygenerated picture and/or text information signal, re-ceived from, for example, a teletext decoding circuit.In order to eliminate an annoying "jitter" which occursin a portion of the displayed picture in which the digi-tally generated picture and/or text information signalis also displayed, a signal is generated which substant-ially eliminates the interlace in the said portion of thepicture.
