COUPLING UNIT FOR CONNECTION OF HIGH-VOLTAGE GENERATORWINDING LEAD-OUT AND CABLEAbstract.A coupling unit for connection of a generator high--voltage winding lead-out and a cable comprises a casingwherein a generator high-voltage winding lead-out withsheaths and a cable termination are arranged, their currentcarrying elements being linked by a power jumper.Each sheath of the generator high-voltage winding lead--out has a specific electric potential. Contact rings arearranged on the capacitor splice-of the generator high-vol-tage winding lead-out, each ring being connected to a res-pective sheath of the generator high-voltage winding lead--out. Contact rings are arranged also on the capacitor spli-ce of the cable termination and connected to the platesthereof, the contact rings equispaced from the planesrunning through the beginnings of the capacitor splicesof the generator high-voltage lead-out and of the cabletermination being linked by jumpers.
