ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREThis invention is directed to an anaerobicadhesive and to a method of bonding two substrates at abond site. The anaerobic adhesive comprises the reac-tion product of an addition polymerizable ethylenicallyunsaturated isocyanate and a polyahl, a curing amountof a polymerization initiator and a stabilizing amountof a polymerization inhibitor. The method of bondingtwo substrates at a bond site comprises depositing theadhesive of this invention at the bond site such thatthe adhesive contacts both substrates and consuming thepolymerization inhibitor, thereby polymerizing theadhesive to form a solid material that bonds the twosubstrates.
