ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREMethod and apparatus for dusting off gases by filtration andcleaning of filter by aspiration and application thereof to combus-tion gases.This invention relates to the filtration of dust loadedgases, in particular, combustion gases in the hot state. It consistsof passing gases to be dusted off from top to bottom over a bed ofpulverulent material, in particular, a sand bed and cleaning the upperlayer of said bed by aspiration of dusts deposited thereon. Thisinvention is particularly-adapted for dusting off combustion gasesfrom boilers or thermal power stations or gases to be supplied togas turbines.
