To facilitate the pointing of a reception antenna (1) to the transmission antenna of a satellite, before the fine adjustment of the azimuth and elevation angle of the reception antenna (1), a measuring receiver (9), which is connected on the output-side to the external assembly (4) and has a level indicator (12), which can be adjusted only within a narrow frequency band corresponding approximately to the permissible drift of the satellite beacon signal, converted into the IF-band, is adjusted to the satellite beacon frequency by means of a low-power reference transmitter (7), coupled on the input-side into the external assembly (4). A dielectric stabilised resonator-oscillator is preferably used as the reference transmitter (7). The reference transmitter (7), as well as the measuring receiver (9) and, if required, further modules in the module system, are assembled in a detachable manner with a common operating power supply.
