Additives consisting of a copolymer produced from 35-50% by weight of styrene monomers and 65-50% by weight of C12-C20 heavy alkyl methacrylates and 0-10% by weight of butyl methacrylate, and capable of being modified by grafting N-vinylpyrrolidone. Dispersing additives for carbonaceous materials and sludge; good heat stability at 250oC. Formulation of lubricating oils.
