This process describes an improved method for producing a fancy-textured yarrn. which has a Crepe effect and a soft and opulent feeling in woven textiles. The yarn is a twisted polyester filament, in which finely rolled parts (a) and agglomerated parts (b) focusing twists in the direction of length are randomly arranged. In (b) the twists are concentrated within short intervals and the unit length and interval of (b) are randomly arranged. Several mount-shaped rolls are connected to one another in bulky (a) and the unit length and interval of (a) are randomly distributed The unit length of (a) is much longer than that of (b).
