Ko-chang-cho, which is useful as a diuretic agent, was processed. Thus, sliced Ko-chang-cho (2-3 cm) was autoclaved for 2 hr. The resulting steamed materials were ground and fermented at 50-60oC for 72 hr. Then, the resulting materials were autoclaved again for 4 hr. and dried at 120-130oC to give the product (150-200 mesh).
