The heat exchanger is intended for refrigerant circuits and is especially designed for low temperatures. It operates as a coil cooler. The displacement body inside the heat exchanger is in the form of a liquid collector for a condensable and evaporable refrigerant. The collector is preferably in the form of a vessel, which is open at one end facing a liquid take-off. A connecting union near the bottom may couple the collector inside to the heat exchanger.
