A hydraulically setting dry mass for producing rigid articles contains a binder, for example cement, and one or more admixed additives. Setting of this dry mass gives a rigid shaped article having a matrix formed by the binder and additive or additives embedded therein. To obtain an article of high thermal conductivity, grainy, granular, chipped, pulverulent or comminuted metal particles of a metal having a high thermal conduction coefficient are present as additive.
