Method for identifying (S) interleaved source program blocks which, composed of steps or rows, are written into registers or stores of an electronic data processing system, particularly a compiler, an identification (6+, 5-) marking such block boundaries and, particularly, corresponding to a change in the depth of interleaving, being inserted in each case in first and, respectively, last steps or rows of each block.
