The subject of title, dog-leading device as a multipurpose item, serves firstly for picking up dog excrement in order to provide a clean environment in towns and residential areas. At the same time intended for the device is a dog-walking lead (Fig. 1) which is mounted tied onto the actual support units (Fig. 2), the lead spool only counting optionally as an accessory. It is envisaged technically that the gripping shells can be inserted so as to be disposable after use or the grippers are coated with thin paper shells. The dog excrement gripping device is carried openly and indicates that legal provisions are met.
