Each tine of the resonance fork comprises two through-flow pipes for the gaseous or liq. medium, both pipes being arranged close together in a single plane. Both pipes also have the same flow cross-section and length and are joined together at their free-swinging end by a curved connection, which has approx. the same thickness of walls. The plane in which the pair of through flow pipes comprising one tine of the resonance fork are arranged is parallel to that of the second tine. The axis of the exciter and receiving coil of the electromagnetic oscillation circuit runs vertically to these parallel planes. Pref. both tubes for inflowing medium and both tubes for outflowing medium are connected by a transverse channel arranged in the rigidly held top of the resonance fork or in its holder. Pref., the means of delivering and carrying the medium away consist of flexible metallic tubes.
