Process for the forced separation of at least two flat workpieces adhering together by adhesive forces or vacuum suction forces during the lifting thereof and device for carrying out the process
During lifting of flat workpieces, especially surface-coated or untreated chipboards by means of vacuum suction forces, the topmost workpiece (1) of a stack of workpieces is lifted by the vacuum suction forces and the second workpiece (1a) adhering below this workpiece (1) and thereby also lifted is released by at least one compressed air jet (19) blown into the contact joint (12) between the two workpieces (1, 1a) and into the workpiece edge region adjacent to this contact joint (12) and by interrupting the lifting movement and/or changing the lifting rate of the workpiece (1) to be transported, by releasing the adhesive forces or the suction force (vacuum bell) by means of the compressed air jet (19) and jerky starting and stopping and velocity changes. The vacuum suckers (7) which are adjacent to the reference edge of the workpiece stack have allocated to them respectively at least one, preferably two, injection nozzles (11), which lie outside the workpiece stack and are connected in a vertically movable manner by the suckers (7) and blow the compressed air jet (19) in a concentrated manner onto the workpiece edges transversely to the direction of suction.
