According to the invention, the analyser is characterised in that an electrically actuatable three-way valve (1) is provided which is connected to a calibration source (15) with an air pump (13) and also to an infeed of air to be measured and to a zeroing filter (12), the zeroing filter (12) being connected to the input of the three-way valve (1), the output of the three-way valve (1) being connected to selective filters (2), and the output of the selective filters (2), via a mechanical filter (3), being connected to an electrolyser (4), and in that the output of the electrolyser (4) for the air/electrolyte mixture is connected to an electrolyte reservoir (7) via an air lift pump (5), the air lift pump (5) being connected, by means of an electrolyte circulation line via a pump (10) for the solution, and a filter (16), to the electrolyser (4), and the output line of the analysed air from the electrolyte reservoir (7) communicating with the atmosphere via a protective filter (9). The automatic analysers according to the invention can be used in automatic measurement grids for monitoring trace concentrations of oxidising or reducing substances in the atmosphere. IMAGE
