An optically adjustable directional antenna for information transmission satellites is characterised in that the adjustment of the directional antenna takes place with the aid of known, optical lens systems which are connected to the directional antenna. This type of adjustment is suitable for all visible target antennas on the earth's surface or in space and is distinguished by particularly simple and cost-effective design. It is particularly suitable for the adjustment of private directional antennas in the context of satellite broadcast radio and satellite television in those cases in which the information satellite or the target antenna is visible as a result of solar radiation or is made visible by artificial radiation.
