摘要
The resins are prepd. by reacting a polyamino-triazine (pref. melamine and HCHO in the molar ratio 1:2-7 (1:3-5) in the presence of an acid catalyst e.g. HCOOH, and =1 miscible organic pore-forming agent, e.g. DMF. The reaction mixt. is heated (70-85 degrees C) until a gel is formed (10-100 mins.) and the resin obtd is baked (=100 degrees C), for 2-20 h. The resins have high mechanical strength, osmotic stability and improved adsorption compared to conventional nonporous amino resins. They have excellent adsorption for colorants and organic materials present in waste waters in paper pulp prodn. They also serve as supports for enzymes, catalysts or biocidal agents.
