Flexible tag for labelling sheet materials which are readily perforated incorporates integral fasteners on each end of the tag. One head is a tapered stud with a bulbous top ending in a point with an included angle of 90 degrees. The other head has an opening smaller than the top of the stud and surrounded by semi-rigid flaps and an annular skirt which is at least as deep as the length of the stud. The tag is coloured and suitable for manual application, e.g. for marking the ears of cattle. Pref. the tags are moulded from a plastics material having a hardness of between 65 and 85 Shore D. The band may have a relatively thin, flexible waist in the middle of the central strip.
