摘要
The building uses standardised precast reinforced concrete components (1, 2, 3) to obtain a column mounted flat slab floor without beams projecting below the soffite. The slabs (1, 2, 3) have a triangular plan complement one another to cover a contiguous plan area, and span between columns and a common apex joint (C). A typical layout uses identical triangular slab modules, with angles of 30 deg., 120 deg. and 30 deg., combining to form a triangular floor area with angles of 60 deg. The corners are made up of two acute module angles, the three obtuse angles meeting at a site joint (C). The joint may use encastre steel plate tenons (8) which are secured to reinforcement (11a, 11b) and which project into triangular angle notches (7). The tenons are sandwiched by triangular plates (9), each secured by a nut and bolt (10).
