The limiter is installed in a hole in a plate in order that the inlet for the fluid is applied to the body. Lateral holes permit mounting of the lower sections. As the level in the tank rises, it causes a float to push a hollow guide upwards. This ensures that a flexible washer blocks the communication between a chamber and the guide tube hole to increase the chamber pressure. This causes the valve head to rise towards the valve seat in the upper part of the body and to shut off the fuel flow. The device can be fitted onto existing tanks without requiring any form of modification.
