The mounting is for fixing a wheel of pressed sheet (1) web on a vehicle normally equipped with light alloy wheels. At the level of each wheel (R) fixing hole (8) is an adaptor shoe (9). This is placed against the wheel web and there are fixings (M) with thrust arms (11). The shoe has a hole (16) to the right of the wheel fixing hole (8). Each adaptor shoe has an elliptical base (12) with a curved thrust pad to press against the web around the wheel fixing hole and a body (15) making a boss for the hole (16) for the fixing thrust.
