Na percarbonate- and Na perborate-contg. stable persalt is prepd. by contacting percarbonate- and/or perborate-contg. crystallisation nuclei with an aq. soln. which is super-satd. in Na percarbonate and Na perborate and also contains Na silicate and Na hexametaphosphate. Water is then evaporated from the end prd. The persalts are used in detergent compsns. The persalt is prepd. in one step; dissolves more easily than Na perborate and has a higher active oxygen-content than Na perborate. The percarbonate and perborate ratio can be adjusted.
