The display stand for machine tools comprises a vertical column (4) on which are mounted trays (6), each of which has holes (7) formed in it into which the tools (8) fit. A plinth supports the column (4). Each tray is pivot mounted and can be adjusted axially and locked in the required position. Each tray also has a support (9) consisting of a threaded sleeve (10) which is locked by a screw (13). A row of ball bearings (15) is mounted in the circular bearing track (14) in the top of each tray to permit smooth pivotal movement.
