The cover is designed to shelter and screen cultivated land in arid hot climates, using two portal frames to mount a roof frame comprised of seven rods giving form to undulating 'V' section roof cladding and opaque lateral downstands. The frame is fixed to the ground and comprises a cambered support providing three 'V' section troughs with four crests. A rigid plate may be welded to the frame to provide support for the crest rods, the free standing post height being determined by sleeves with locking screws contacting a base plate. The posts pass through relatively long slot holes in the plate which may be equipped with straps securing a perforated three way irrigation feed.
