Furnace loading system for roofing elements - using side supports furnace wagon and loading into specific zones of wagon

System for charging terracotta roofing elements into a drying oven or firing furnace is described in which (a) the roofing elements are grouped in packets of 6-9 and disposed on the plane (4) of a furnace wagon (1) so as to form at least one layer of packets (6) placed near each other; (b) the wagon is provided with side supporting elements (5) disposed on the plane (4) of the wagon parallel to one of the principal axes of the plane and extending upwards through at least part of the height of one layer, the supporting elements (5) defining modular zones of the wagon capable of being loaded upwards. The furnace is used esp. for drying or firing tiles, hollow tiles and similar elements.
