The mechanism includes a rotating shaft (a) carrying a ring (b) with a wedge-shaped outer surface located in a corresp. hole in the bore of an eccentric. The eccentric carries the big end of a crankshaft employed to oscillate a table carrying the mould. In an axial hole in shaft (a) is a mobile rod fixed to ring (b) by a peg. The axial movement of the mobile rod moves the wedge ring (b) inwards or outwards, thereby decreasing or increasing the effective dia. of the eccentric, thus adjusting the amplitude of oscillation of the mould table. Simple but rigid design providing accurate control of mould oscillation.
