Vibrator gearbox lubricating system - has pumped oil system between gear box and return tank

The gearbox of the vibrator forms a shallow oil sump in which the teeth of the gear wheels (R,P) are just immersed. Oil is extracted through an orifice (7) and pumped to a return tank (5) prior to recycling to the individual gears (R,P) through a distribution system. Heat extracted in the oil is dissipated in the tank, which is sized as a function of the circuit size and use. The valve (6) is closed when the vibrator is stopped, or the pump is not running.
