The invention relates to an isothermal device making it possible to minimise the considerable thermal exchanges existing between two environments. It consists of a variable number of individual parallepipedal elements 14, which can be superposed by nesting 17 and are made from a highly insulating material, having, on one side, the opening of mutually independent cavities 16 in each of which a bottle 22 is inserted on its side, the neck facing outwards. An insulating stopper 19 hermetically closes each cavity. The device according to the invention makes it possible, in the absence of a satisfactory cellar, to keep bottled wines for ageing by protecting them from considerable differences in temperature and light.
