The invention relates to animal feeding-stuffs. It relates to a food component for animal feeding-stuffs, characterised in that it consists of a macroscopically homogeneous, liquid or pasty stable emulsion of a fatty substance and of a lacto- protein and lactose substance in which the lactose has been at least partially hydrolysed into glucose and galactose, the weight ratio of the fatty substance to the true lactoproteins contained in the hydrolysed lactose protein substance being between 2 and 45. Use by cattle breeders, particularly for calves.
