The arrangement is intended for actuating a swivellable two-position U-shaped bracket in the bass register of an accordion between a pre-set and a player-selected chord. The bracket is swivelled via a spring-loaded lever linkage by depressing a key, the drive being such that each depression cancels one and selects the other position. One end of the bracket is provided with a projecting plate (9) with a recess (slot 10) facing the cross-member (4) of the bracket. A key-operated lever (12) has a pin (11) engaging the recess in one position and the end of the plate in the other.
