PURPOSE:To prevent temporarily the damage of a variable power optical system at the time of runaway of a half speed mirror by providing an interlocking press ing part for supporting, etc. so as to support movably a transfer lever whose one end is used as the colliding part to the supporting body of the half speed mirror. CONSTITUTION:When a half speed mirror 13 runs away to a variable power optical system 14 side due to malfunction, etc.; a supporting frame 20 abuts on a colliding surface of a transfer lever 40. The lever 40 is rocked counterclockwise centering around a pin 39 since a surface 41 is pressed by the frame 20, and an interlocking pressing surface 42 presses a driving wire 32. When the wire 32 is pressed, a spring 35 stretches, and a frame 25 moves in the direction separating from the mirror 13. Since the spring 35 stretches, the collision to the surface 41 is softened. The frame 25, nemely, the optical system 14 moves in the direction separating from the mirror 13, therefore, the fear to collision to the system 14 of the mirror 13 is further reduced. The spring 35 contracts by a tension of itself thereafter, and the lever 40 is reset to the original position through the pressing surface 42, therefore, the frame 25 returns a little to the frame 20 side, and stops stably in its state.
