PURPOSE:To easily discharge sedimented soil and sand on the bottom under water by a method in which sediments on the bottom under water, dredged by an underwater dredger, are sucked with water to the outside of sedimentation basin by a dredger, and solids are separated from water and discharged. CONSTITUTION:An underwater dredger 2 is traveled on the bottom under water of a sedimentation basin 1, a shutter 27 with jet nozzles is driven, and a pump 28 is driven. Whereupon, soil and sand 3 are dredged by a scraper 26 with claw and housed in a soil intake portion 22. The soil and sand 3 are sent to a soil treating car 4, solids are separated from liquid and discharged to a dump truck 8, and liquid is returned through a hose 7 to the sedimentation basin 1.
