METHOD OF AND APPARATUS FOR TURNING CARGO SUSPENDING ARMS OF HANGER EMPLOYED IN TROLLEY CONVEYOR

PURPOSE:To ensure safe operation of cargo suspending arms of hanger employed in trolley conveyor, by providing recesses and projection for locking the arms in its operative position and in its non-operative position when turning the arms horizontally between the above two positions. CONSTITUTION:Hanger suspending frame 1 of trolley conveyor carries a semi- circular frame 5 in laterally movable manner by the aid of rollers 8. At the lower ends of frame 5, cargo suspending arms 22 are supported on respective vertical shafts 21 in pivotally movable manner. Stopper 24 at the lower end of shaft 21 is formed with an upward projection 25 in the form of a truncated cone for engagement with recesses 26, 27 which are formed in base portion 23 of arm 22, whereby it is enabled to lock the arms 22 in its operative position where it is engaged with a cargo and in its non-operative position where it is out of engagement with cargo.
