DUPLEX BODY WEIGHT METER FOR MEASURING WEIGHT OF INFANT*S HEAD PART

PURPOSE:To enable the easy supervision of the growth state of each part of the body or the drain by parallelly providing the balance provided with a pan for measuring the head part and the balance provided with a pan for measuring the body and leg part on the same base frame. CONSTITUTION:The spring balance bodies 1, 2 in which weights are displayed by pointers 3 are parallelly provided on a bed frame 4. A head part pan 5 is provided to the one spring balance body 1 and a body and leg part pan 6 on the other spring balance body 2. An infant is placed supine across both these pans 5, 6 and is weighed. It is equally well to provide a vertical movement correcting mechanism, not illustrated, for the purpose of correcting the vertical positions of the body 1 or 2 between either one of the balance body 1 or 2 and the base frame 4. As a result of this, the growth of each part of the infant's body or the growth of the drain may be known readily at an early time during daily nursing.
