PURPOSE:To prevent an increase of temperature at the bearing and to extend a life of bearing by a method wherein both a counter-flow and circulation of the oil between each of the oil supplying holes are prevented and new oil is supplied to the oil supplying port at the outlet on the loading surface. CONSTITUTION:A part of the oil at the loading surface A is restricted at both sides of the bearing, oozing out and collected at th bottom surface of the chock 2 and then returned to the oil supply tank 7 from the oil discharge port 11. When the rotary shaft 3 is rotated in a counterclockwise direction, the oil supply port 8' is blocked to prevent a counter-flow of the oil, the oil temperature thereof is adjusted by a cooler 5 is flowed in such a way as it may be supplied only from the oil supplying port 8 and the two-direction change-over valve 10 is operated in response thereto. When the shaft is rotated in a clockwise direction, the two-direction change- over valve 10 is changed over in an oil supplying direction. Thus, new oil is supplied only to the oil supplying port at the outlet in the loading surface to prevent an increase of temperature in the bearing as well as to extend a life of the bearing.
