PURPOSE:To control efficiently plural unattended cars by measuring a running time by receiving measuring start and end signals from the unattended car, and correcting successively a running reserved time by using said running time. CONSTITUTION:A central control room of an unattended car controlling system divides a course into several small routes with respect to plural unattended cars, respectively, determines a running reserved time at every small route, and reserves and indicates a route used when the unattended car starts, by each route required for running of its unattended car. When a measuring start signal is received by a receiving part 1 when starting the running, the unattended car starts measurement of a running time by a measuring part 2. In this state, when it arrives at a target position, the measurement by said measuring part 2 is ended through a receiving part 3 of its measuring end signal. By using this running time, the running reserved time is corrected by a time distribution ratio of each small route of a route determined in advance by a correcting part 4, and an optimum running reserved time of each car can be obtained.
