PURPOSE:To improve the mechanical efficiency by installing a planetary gear apparatus for auxiliary speed change between a mechanical reducing reversing gear and an engine. CONSTITUTION:A planetary gear apparatus 3 for auxiliary speed change is installed between an engine 2 and a mechanical reducing reversing gear 1 equipped with single-plate clutches 5 and 6 for advance and retreat respectively. Therefore, on switching to advance side or retreat side, friction is not generated between the clutch on the side in no-operation and a pressing plate 15 or housing 4. Therefore, the mechanical efficiency is improved markedly.
