MEASUREMENT OF AMOUNT OF RECIRCULATION WASTE GAS OF RECIRCULATION FLUE TYPE COKE OVEN

PURPOSE:To perform stable measurement without irregurality with high accuracy, by using helium as tracer gas and immersing a separation column in a dry ice/methanol cooling bath and performing gas analysis while separating hydrogen. CONSTITUTION:An introducing pipe 7 is inserted into the flue hole 5 of the combustion side flue 4 of a coke oven 1 so as to reach the upper part of the flue 4 and helium gas is introduced into a pull-down side flue 2 as tracer gas while metered by a manometer 6. After a predetermined time, specimen gases are collected from suction pipes 8, 9 inserted into the upper parts of the flues 4, 2 from flue holes 5, 3. Further, the specimen gases are withdrawn by pumps 11 and received in tetra-packs 12, 13 while dusts therein are removed by mist removing bottles 10 to be analyzed by a gas chromatograph. By this method, measuring accuracy can be stabilized extremely well regardless of the injection amount of helium gas.
